I am a baptized child of God, originally born and raised in Oconomowoc, WI. I've spent the last 15 years living just east of Atlanta, GA. During that time, I felt a strong call to ordained ministry while working as the Music & Worship Director at Community of Grace Lutheran Church. I answered that call in 2018 and completed my MDiv. degree at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN, via their distributed learning program in December 2022, after completing my internship at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Marietta, GA.

During my time in seminary, there were many challenges that I faced. The biggest of those was the loss of my husband of 15 years, Brian, to cancer in December 2021, leaving me the single parent of our then 13-year-old daughter, Anna.

God worked so strongly in my life and through my grief that I was able to finish my degree and be there for Anna, who is now a strong and thriving 15-year-old excited to start her sophomore year in high school this fall. God has brought people into my life that have nurtured my call, laughed with me in my excitement, and dried my tears in my sorrow.

I now celebrate with God and with them my call to serve the beloved people of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd as their pastor.
